I make it a point to get to Holts, every time I go to Center City.  Wife likes their selection, also.  She goes for the CAO fruity and vanilla sticks.  :aok

 :rofl :rofl :rofl

Now thats funny, my wife loves kicking back with a cigar now and then.....  :aok

On our honeymoon, we were in Bermuda...sitting on the veranda of our resort, drinking Gold Seal Rum, and puffing down Cubans  :aok  Lifes Good!!!

So did we, except we were in Petit St. Vincent and the rum was some $1/bottle local stuff from Carriacou.  Tasty, though.  :aok

You have all been sitting at desks for too long.  :bhead

I am fishing for pairing suggestions, with the exception of the ones I just mentioned.

I would recommend the Stradivarius Churchill or the Don Artura Edicion Aniversario, granted they are not CHEAP but they are worth it. As for the Scotch I would go with Glenfiddich 15 Year Old Single Malt Whisky or Highland Park 12 Year Old Single Malt Whisky, and like the cigars they are not CHEAP but worth the money.

seriously try Penderyn Single malt welsh whisky . Smooth and just stunning .  It's a really rich taste that just slides down your gullet warming your innards . Quite a complex taste that is just stunning  . Plus it's Welsh brewed in wales and quality . It will beat anything out of scotland hands down .  :old:

real scotch and real cigars don't have labels on them...if you're lucky enough to have the folks that made both in your presence then wow....in other words get both hand made and you wont notice the difference because it will be a good night because of the company (people that made them)!
They call it "common sense", then why is it so uncommon?

Been working on the handmade part with the cigars...  different story on the Scotch though  :devil

Early day, today.  Going to be time for this, very soon.

Both liquor and cigar store in same shopping center.

Usual suspects are Padron or Rocky Patel and Johnnie Walker (Black or Red)

Suggestions?

I by far prefer Padron to Rocky Patel.

I typically reserve my cigar smoking for the warmer months as the wife doesnt appreciate the stench of cigars in the house that often lasts for Days.
Unless i have someone to smoke with outside. And since my father in law passed on a couple years ago and my buddy lives a half hour away. that doesnt happen very often
