For those among us who have played the game for years, it is a love/hate relationship for this game.  It's time to take that complexity to the next level.  We, the Players, should work together to buy this game and have HiTech Creations work for us directly.

I propose we form a coalition of players to pool together massive amounts of lotto tickets each drawing.  Players wishing to be an equal part owner would have to put up front a small Buy-in fee that is refundable should they choose to leave.

Once the grand jackpot has been won worth millions, we buy the game for $1,000,000 dollars and retain the staff and increase their wages.  The new owners get to choose the new aircraft and vehicles plus other additions to the game.

All in favor raise your hand and say,"I'll but that for a dollar!"

Details to be worked out by those interested in the takeover operations.

Ummm...no.

If this is like purchasing any normal software house, you need to make a direct offer for intellectual property and patent rights to Mr. Hitech aside from the outright purchase of his company.

Without those he can sell you the current business entity and code while taking his genius else where. $5Mil sounds about right for that excluding the patents and genius. Who knows, he may have one more competitive venture in him that will migrate your customers away from your AH just like they did from War Birds to his AH. He has a very talented history of creating games and customers following him to newer better games. You could never pay him personaly enough to stay on as your coad slave while giving away his genius for a paycheck I will venture.

Why do you think he would?

I suggested for one FSO to have no CIC's to have the squad CO's work together.  You have o have CM's to run the event.

We have offer and counter-offer.  Negotiation can commence.  We raise the bid to $3,000,000.00 and throw in a VIP package for a week at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, spend the summer in the Lincoln Bedroom at the White House, expunge all speeding and parking tickets, and the big kicker.

We get them to bring back 8 track tapes.

You may wish to raise that price tag about 5 fold.

Why?  Is he important?

If I win Powerball in the near future and decide to buy this game, then everyone will wished they jumped into this once in a lifetime oppurtunity.

Is HTC privately owned?

If so, buying it out isn't an option.

It would be like me walking up to someone and saying:

Me:  I have money.  I'm buying your house.

Someone:  But my house isn't for sale.

Me:  IRRELEVANT!  I have money.

At least that's my common-sense take on it.

The last time someone got really p-ed off by an on-line sim and wanted change, they had to go and try to make their own.

Target Rabaul, I believe it was.
Interestingly enough that’s exactly how I bought my home 30 years ago.  We drove up and down the streets in the Town we wanted to live in , made a list of addresses that we wanted to see and contacted a realtor.  Of the 15 or so that we liked , three agreed to discuss selling.  So it does work, however, AH is privately held with several investors.  One would have to approach them and the OP’s  price tag is way off the mark.
