Man the hurricanes blew right through us and we turned to engage. Unfortunately my little paper airplane had a hard time catching back up to the buffs when the hurricanes turned back in from behind.

My apologies to the boys in the 332nd.  I dug deep into my bag of trix but simply could not stop the Hurricanes from getting in.  A good example of the advance sweep/close escort question. Also, the dar and the player turnout both worked against the Axis forces.  The set up called for a 60/40 split in favor of the Axis, but in the event...the Allies fielded more aircraft.  Again, my apologies.  On the brighter side...you were avenged in full, and we eventually destroyed all of the Hurricanes.

 dude....i got jumped by some p40's. took a pilot wound fairly quickly, and tried to dive away. i almost got meself kilt 'cause i couldn't maneuver, and they just kept shootin' the poop outta me...... thankfully, i think they had a hard deck......
