Possible bug with bomber

This occurred this morning:
1. Upped formation of Mosquito Mark XVI (did not intend to have formation, my mistake)
2. Dropped on A46 town
3. RTB, landed and rearmed (I have heard that drones do not rearm and understand that)
4. Dropped on a few more towns, RTB, rearm, repeat
5. Landed 29k+ damage as usual but I lost 26.66 perk points

My question is since I was able to rearm, the drones should have landed; is this a bug or is it normal?

they land but cannot take back off, so when you took back off, they stayed behind and went poof.

I understand that you are saying on my lift off after rearming that they went poof.  I guess that is exactly my point.

The drones landed at the end of the first leg of my sortie. The drones usefulness expired, they are no more.

Additionally, my Bomber Statistics show the drones landing. Why was I penalized perk points since the drones landed successfully? Had the drones been shot down, lost, or hit a mountain instead of successfully landing then the loss of perks is understandable.

I'll just check more often, especially after downloading and installing AH2 patches to ensure that the formation selection is blank.

In game terms they didn't land. Drones only do 'land' if you do, that is if you end sortie on the runway. But you did not do that, but instead rearmed and took off again. The drones stayed sittign on the ground and went *poof* And your bomber statistic shows that they did. You have two bomber deaths on your score that do not have any correlation to your plane stats. That's the two drones that exploded on the ground.
