A true tragedy has unfolded.  Last night I held in my hands the first glass bottle of Mt. Dew I've seen in probably 20 years.  I wanted to save it for later, to drink fresh on a clean palate, and it got warm in the process.  I brought it home and put it in the freezer to chill before consuming as a night cap... then promptly fell asleep.  I snapped awake like a kid on a Christmas morning, shouted out "Golly-geeN IT!" and literally ran to the freezer.  I may have got there in time, but I'm not sure.  There was a little bit of frozen dewness leaking out of a spot around the cap.  As we speak it's undergoing an emergency defrost.  I can only hope it isn't flat now.  Pray for us. :bhead

I got it from some little hole in the wall Mexican joint that just opened up recently.  They also had Pepsi in glass bottles, still with the old school labeling, and they are both made with sugar rather than corn syrup.  I think I'm going to go back and pick up a couple of each.  The Dew was missing the for lack of a better word "pulp" that I remember from back in the day.

Haha. I forgot this topic existed, but while looking through my browser for the Darth Vader "Noooooooooooooooooooooooooo" link I saw this one and coincidentally I took this picture yesterday



The place I got it from even sells the old school bottled Pepsi. I prefer Coke, but whatever lol.
