I like the idea of just typing in the score I want.  This flying stuff is hard.

It'd be nice if minor damage (fuel leaks, etc) could be fixed... 60 seconds per "leak".

Fuel hits
Radiator leak (but not engine damage)
Engine Oil

Why not?

Engine oil would be leaking through the hole that has been shot through the crankcase. Doubt it would be fixable in any reasonable time

Worked on Corbra's and Huey's (98-05 USMC).  Worked on decks with fast movers (Harriers) and a lot of problems came up during start up of all A/C platforms, so troubleshooting a gripe with the A/C was extremely common.  Usually things could be fixed within a 15 min as long as no moving parts were involved.

Flight-line is a misnomer.

Neither of these pieces of equipment fly.

They are just so damned ugly that the Earth repels them...

I'll have to disagree on that.  A Cobra is a beautiful deadly machine, while the Huey is more like its angry fat friend

Wouldn't it be easier if you could just type in the score you want?

Brilliant!  Really.

No need to exploit the rearm pad, exploit setting your "fighter" to "attack" and all the other erroneous behaviors just to be perceived of as having a high score.  If peeps could just type in the score they want...maybe...maybe they would fly more interactively and less gamey.  :old:

...or not.

Fun thought though.

Fine, but they still don't fly.

listen this has been posted a zillion times.  hitech has always replied that the only way he can change the coad to allow repairs while on the pad was if he ended the flight while you wait.  so in reality while your airplane got fixed it would actually be another sortie which is the same as going to the tower and getting another plane.

but feel free to post another wish next month.

midway

Not exactly, I could change it, but I said the only way I WOULD, change it is if the sortie ended.

I always thought they were so ugly the ground rejected them.
