<S> LILLMAK and the 7 ton wonder P47D40
« on: January 17, 2013, 08:44:54 AM »
I had the privilege to encounter LILMAK in his D40 Jug on last nights map. I was in the 47D11. We were both co alt at around 15k if i remember correctly. No one else around to interfere and it was an awesome test of wills. One of the best fights I've had in some time. Both horizontal and vertical scissors, snap rolls, stalls, flaps, slow speed turns, u name it we used it. It went down to the ground where I ran out of alt and crashed before pulling up. My only regret was I didn't record it. Thank you LILMAK for making my night and I look forward to the rematch.

Agree. We encountered each other in a 2v1 (i had a wingman) a few nights ago and he gave us quite a fight. I ended up with the kill shot but only because my wingman refused to leave after he had been oiled. We had a couple words in 200 afterward in a 'heat of the moment' type thing but in the end I have much respect for what he can do in that Jug of his. If you ever want a duel I'm up for learning something <S>

Lilmak is one of the best Jug sticks in the game, major props to him for flying that bathtub so well  :salute :aok

Lil Mak's a bonafide hardcore stud in his jugs. About a year or so ago I used to
try and wing him while flying one myself, but I couldn't come close to keepin'
up with him while he was "dancin'".
I've only seen one other guy over the years who had those jug skills and
that was "Yucca" of the 56th FG.
Yucca tried patienty for a couple of hours to show me some ACM in the
jug, but mediocre moop that I am, I failed miserably in replicating 'em.

I remain,

EZRhino...that was one hell of a fight you put up. Best jug v jug fight I've had in a long time. I think the only reason I survived was the new damage model. I love running into D-11s because I know the guy is there to get busy.

Tongs...you are truly scary whenever I encounter you and always a class act.

Ink...what can I say, when I run into you, the tower is certainly not far away.

AlBundy...every time I see you in a D-40 I remember the only thing that family was good at and Al's words every time fists were about to fly "Let's rock!"

Midway regularly beats me in my jug when he's in the magical spit...when he starts thinking he's too good, I dust off the old F4U-1A and put him back in his place. Lord help him if I ever got pissed enough to set up my head positions in a spit.

Ripley...you bend that 51 well. That 200 ribbing was mostly as a result of frustration on my part.

Thanks for the props gents!!! Look forward to falling to your virtual guns in the future.
