hey chewie, <S> amigo, ive seen a few times where squads will gauge big mission interest here. some reason ive always thought itd be cool to setup some sort of historical mission in the MA. one time ET37 flew a c47 deep into indian territory and we had a rescue mission. our only goal was to get him home. another was a japanese themed run with Oddcaf. only rooks knew of these runs. i was thinking that maybe some squad leaders from rook, knight and bishop set up something cool and historical. somehow i think it would get people more interested in the history of air warfare and maybe even influence people to try to fly more like the real ww2 pilots did, with battle/acm tactics in their minds. and the idea, that getting to target and getting back home is important. also, these raids would have unexpected things pop up, like maybe flight lead has engine troubles and has to turn back and rtb, but hes so deep in indian territory, he'll for sure need an escort. the rest of the mission continues to target , but now assignments will need reworked. something like this with all the unexpected things that can occur.  how hard would something in that vain be to setup. or is it near impossible since the ma is so wheels off? <S>
