When they started the review it was determined we needed to get through them.
I recall problems with various skins as follows;
1) Multiple submissions of the same skin. We cannot tell what is supposed to be the real one or the bad one, so we just rejected all the them.
2) Skins with no panel lines. If you review a skin with bump mapping enabled, the lack of panel lines is not as noticeable, but when you turn of bump mapping, the skins looked bad without panel lines.
3) There was one skin which looked like it used white noise for the exhaust pipes of the plane.
4) Multiple submissions of skins with only the serial number or fuselage number being different. Sorry, but we really do not want to get into having the same skin taking up a lot of slots.
5) One skin was a Finnish skin which was for a plane we do not have in the game. We really try not to get into that as there could be a day when we have that plane model.
6) There was a couple that were just confusing. We could not tell if it was intended to be an update to a submission (please do not do that), or what.
I really want to encourage skinners not to submit updates of skins, for right now. Soon, you will be able to. Also note, once a skin is submitted, it CANNOT be updated until it is reviewed. If it is in the submission queue, DO NOT submit it again. That just compounds problems and will get your skin(s) rejected.
We understand why things were being done the way they were. It was due to us being too slow to get skins reviewed, but that will not longer be the case.
Thank you.
