Here is the way chilidogs are suppose to be eaten. Vidalia onion rings on the side.  Note the bun must be sliced on the top. :aok

Some times a slaw chilli dog is called for. When I was younger wouldnt touch slaw but  as I got older my tastes changed and I love me a chili slaw dog now and then. Only thing Ill eat at the varsity(Yes I know it sucks  but visitor HAVE to eat there and drag me along) here in atlanta   BUt its not nearly as good as homemade.

Don't forget the celery salt... it's what makes it delicious.

You guys have never had a real "chili dog," or even a real hotdog for that matter, until you come to Flint and get a Coney Island

Enjoying a day off work… Aces High, 4 Chilidogs, and a 40oz. Beer.

(Image removed from quote.)

CHEERS!

Those things look yummy. You know if this was a Finn taking that shot it would be 1 Chilidog and 4 40oz beers.

I started eating at the Varsity when curb boys jumped on your bumper to ride to you parking spot to take your order.  The Yellow Jacket had a better chilidog back then but the Varsity was pretty tasty.  It was until that gal started running the place and replaced the frying lard with canola.

Best chilidog in SE is Nuway in Macon, Ga the home of James Brown.

My grandma loved mayo on hotdogs too. As a little kid she always tried to get me to put it on there. I still get a good chuckle and think about her when I hear or see someone put mayo on dogs.  :lol

Hell, I probably would like it actually.....I like mayo on everything else  ;)
