AR 234 Damage model/flight model?
« on: February 02, 2013, 06:18:25 PM »
On the OZKANSAS map at the V115 spawn to A119 I hit an AR 234 with an Osti twice taking off the entire vertical stabilizer of the plane. It leveled out & just flew away as if nothing had hit it.
One of the rare times I happened to film. I lost the AR 234 after 10.7K on film viewer & after 16 min nothing as far as a kill is concerned.

I jumped a B24 with a mossie and saw his entire tail come off.

I came in for another pass and the plane had somehow reattached it's tail.

not sure if I have film.

Same spot different day & different player.

I would think a 37MM round from an Ostwind should at least take off an aileron ?
Second round at least set him on fire.
