What is god's view, what arenas does it work in, and how do I activate it ?
Thanx,

It's disabled in the main arenas, it is typicaly a moderator/administrator/trouble-shooting tool only accessible to those who need it.

You can utilise it offline for yourself.  Maybe in a custom arena you host?

It's always enabled in KOTH events. and is a good way to watch the action if you're in the tower.

The real name for it is "CM Eye". There are some articles on how to set it up out on the AH Wiki, but this link should get you started: http://www.hitechcreations.com/wiki/index.php/God%27s_Eye_mode.

This mode works offline and in your own custom arena, or any one else's custom arena if they set the proper arena flag. It allows you free movement all around the arena, which comes in handy to watch the action or just explore the map (or for fun, look around the bases and go into the buildings).

In the Main arenas, people generally call it "God Mode" if you press F5 while in the tower so you get a bird's eye view over the base, which you can use F8 view mode and your head movement controls to look around.

If you open clipboard and goto, controls, mapkeys, then select the views subheading you will see the CMeye comands that you can map. By default they are left unprogramed so you can set it up as you wish. I only use "move forward"and"move backwards" and just fly around using my joystick. You can map other commands but I find those are all I really need.

It's enabled in the TA and DA IIRC.

Wouldn't F3+F8 be considered God view in the MA?

F5 gives you a better "over the field" view.  F3 is just external view above the tower (just like if you F3 from a plane on the ground), hence this sentence in my earlier reply:  ;)

In the Main arenas, people generally call it "God Mode" if you press F5 while in the tower so you get a bird's eye view over the base, which you can use F8 view mode and your head movement controls to look around.
