20Gruppo

Still practicing on skinning. I'd like to get one in for the upcoming scenario and would like some help on technique's on weatherizing. Some things like cleanness of numbers and Group patches are giving me fits. This one's Maresciallo Ennio Tarantola's C202.

Unfortunately your ability to weather the C202/205 is severely limited by the age and layout of the skin. Not only does it not have spec or bump mapping, you are restricted in the bitmap layout as well, limited in where you can weather certain key areas due to the mapping/stretching of the pixels, and so forth.

If you want to get it into the scenario, go for it. But if you want to practice weathering techniques, it's one of the worst to do it on.
