The DA is to the rest of Aces High as a Dojo is to a tournament.  A place to learn, practice and have some fun without all the distractions.  Rank is simply not needed there.

Considering the poor opinions that have been voiced by MA players about DA players...and considering the superlative performance by those same DA players in BE's Brackets, I believe it's in order that the DA start being a ranked room. Eliminate F3 mode so that the terms for fighting are the same as the MA and rank pilots who fly there. We are NOT the red-headed step children of Aces High, we are some of the best fighters in the game and we deserve the same recognition that pilots in the MA get.

 F-3 mode so changes the dynamics of a fight it is hard to tell who is good in the DA and who is gaming the game. I don't even know why there is F-3 in the DA but I see a use in the TA for it. Also to make the DA like you are talking about you would need to go to a perk system to keep the Tempests to a dull roar. I don't like the DA because of the perk birds in F-3 mode spraying the sky with cannon. If you can't afford a perk ride in the MA why get a free one in the DA?

Even the blasted WWI arena is ranked...it's absolutely a slap in the face to those of us who pay equally with everyone else to play this game. Those MA pilots who wish to look down on us, fine...you're too damned scared to come in and have your behinds handed to you ..I guess it's safer to stay in the MA and HO everything that comes to you and look down on the lowly DA pilots. That way you can sit on your self appointed pedestals and say LOOK AT ME! I'm an MA pilot...I'm the best! Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffff ft! What are you all so scared of? You don't even come into the DA...Shut up and leave us alone or come in and put your proverbial money where your mouths are. I'm not the best, by far...but there are plenty of pilots in the DA who would be glad to prove my point.

calm down buddy but yes it is unfair The MA guys have no respect for us DA guys because they most of them never fly in there Perk planes should be excluded or at least limited in there F3 is sort of ok in my book And Copprhed's point about the WWI arena is true also In at least spend time in the blasted DA at least a week of two  in there then THEN you can judge US!!!

I don't believe having rank in the DA would help with DA flyers gaining recoginition.

Score is and has always been meaningless in regard to the skill of an invidual fighter.

If a DA fighter craved recoginition, Baldeagles Dueling bracket would be a good place to start.

Ive been to the Da awhile back and saw no difference between the DA(the lake anyway) and MA, well there was on ..there wasnt funpolice shutting fields down.

Hawker, the last person in the world to thump his chest is me. I'm average at best, probably not even that. I'm advocating for those in the DA that ARE really good, as good as any in the game. This whole issue, for me, started with the Brackets, seeing some less than flattering comments about DA pilots only flying F3 and such. For me it's more about gaining equal "benefits", so to speak, for those of us in the DA.
I've found some good pilots in the MA, and have become friends and gained the respect of those that have some humility and respect others. Many of those who fly the MA exclusively now started in the DA, as most new pilots do. We, more often than no,t are the "gatekeepers", we help new pilots, we talk to them and we give them tips. Many of those new pilots stay or leave depending on how they are treated. I was there when RedBull started...he was a DA pilot for quite some time before moving over to the MA, as have many others. If it weren't for Fudmukker, nrshida and Rollya RedBull might have gotten bored and left.
Those pilots who, at least when I started, were most often in the DA are part, if not most of the reason some of the best pilots are now where they are. Give us rank or give us death! Hehehehehehehe. Salute to you all, I respect many of the MA players, and enjoy my time flying with you.
