Here is the benefit:
2.  The Customers (Players) are upping more perk rides now that they have the Points. How is this a good thing? If it were, HTC could have already increased per plane numbers by simply dropping the perk price. Which is in fact there to limit the number of perk rides flying around.
3.  The game becomes more open and diverse. Actually it's the opposite: There will be more uber-planes around, and much less incentive to fly high eny birds, as there is less need to gain perks by playing

Five cents a perk point and only available from HTC not other players. There are enough kooks to buy them to put some cash into the game so we can get a Beaufighter and an He 111. Minimum sale Five bucks (100 points)

Don't forget to figure in Killshooter death whines, disco whines, CV Turning whines, lack of check 6 whines.. and any other way to die that somebody always blames on everybody else..

I find it hard to accept it would be worth the headaches.

200 would be worth $15 a month

Since everything in the known world revolves around money why not give us the ability to purchase Perk Points for cash?-1

Nice example:

$9.99 = 5,000 Pointsno
$14.99 = 10,000 Pointsno
$19.99 = 20,000 Pointsno

The completed sale would drop the purchase points into your account.
or
Generate a unique player code.  The code could be emailed to the player, then the Player enters that code into a Promo Box off the clipboard for redemption.
or
Players could sign up for a Revolving Perk Point Account which would automatically charge and deposit Points on a weekly or monthly basis just like the Subscription.

Here is the benefit:
1.  AH creates much more revenue.
2.  The Customers (Players) are upping more perk rides now that they have the Points.
3.  The game becomes more open and diverse.

Win-Win-Win situation

You can horde a field with 30-40 lemmings,
You can put a "1" tattoo on all your handles to be at the "top" of the Roster in-game
You cannot escape the plain fact that you and the rest of your lemmings will only
rarely, if ever, get to fly a Tempest or a 262.

Maybe achievements could generate perk points as well as bombing and killing. Then you could get your perkies a little faster.

Average player can earn about 2000 a year playing every tour 3-4 days a week about 3 hours each session. So the real cost would be more like:

12 x $14.95 = $179.40

Perk Cost

1000 = $90
2000 = $180
5000 = $450

At those prices I'd say let all the vets with thousands of unused perk points sell them to newbies if HiTech will facilitate a transfer program.

Or get off your lazy useless bumm and earn them you mama's dork.

Why not make the points only available from other players.   Set up a marketplace where people can choose to buy perk points for whatever a player wants to sell them for.   Laissez-faire.

I can see it now.   "Hey Ray77 I just shot your 262 down.   I'll sell those perk point back to you for 10cents a point."

Man up and learn how to play the game better and earn the points like the rest of us did.

Same as above. Those guys with thousands and thousands of perks were very much like the guys who have very few perks. We all started with out any and spent plenty of time wondering if we would ever have enough to try out a jet. It takes time, but you get better at it, and when you fly a jet you don't crash it on the first turn because you have some experience in how to "fly".
