Anyone shot both Judge & Governor?

I'm getting my carry permit while I can and figured I may as well get a handgun while I'm at it.  I'm looking at getting either a Judge Public Defender or a Governor and am trying to decide if the Smith is worth more.

Springfield P9 Subcompact .40. That is beautifully made and I would think would be ideal to wander around with daily.

Both of the above mentioned weapons are more or less "coach guns"

Great to have in the car, terribly heavy and bulky for EDC.

Yes they are. If you want a compact revolver for carry, Smith has then in 1 7/8 and 2" bbl models.(357mag) I dont like the airweight Smiths, more of a control issue, that and i like my hands 

Ive always looked at those Taurus revolvers you mention as more of a novelity than a CCW. Just my opinion though....

personally, i have an old taurus .38 special, way i see it that should be all i need since 90%of the time my rifle isnt to far away

Where I live I don't feel a need to carry.  The permit is just giving me the itch to buy a new handgun.  I'm leaning towards the governor since it can also shoot acp.

I actually sold my S&W PD360 airlight .357 not too long ago. That gun was painful to shoot. I could only shoot about 10 rounds through it at a time before my hand between my thumb and fore finger would bleed from the rubber grip ripping my skin during the recoil. It was a fantastic carry piece as it pit in my front pocket in a holster that gave the imprint of a wallet. When you draw the gun the holster would stay in your pocket. I now use my original carry gun again (glock 27) and I hate it. I mean I love the glock but I hate carrying it. Even being a subcompact it is way too big an bulky to carry daily. I kind of regret selling the 360pd, but it helped finance my first citori which is a hell of a lot more fun and gets used much more frequently.

Lol forgive me for growing up with shotguns.  Some of your rifle heads might appreciate that a machinist friend is making me 10 round mags for my bolt action 16 gauge for my birthday.

I love shotguns. I grew up firing them and used them exclusively for just over 2 years before I got my first actual rifle.

My first firearm: Remingtom 1100 12ga (semi)
Second firearm: Mossberg 12 ga (pump)

I was also on the shotgun team in high school. I loved it. Still do.
