I declined an invitation to escort my wife and her mother on their annual visit to some family graves in a neighboring state.

Hey, they knew where they were going, and there was no way I'd be back in time for DGS!   :old:

I'm going to hell, aren't I?   :uhoh

Didn't miss the event, but back when I was playing regularly, I was late to prom so I could catch part of FSO. My date was a bit pissed off at me, but she knew how big of an aircraft/gamer nerd I was.

In retrospect, that might also have been one of the dumbest things I've done as well  :bhead.
You started this thread and it was obviously about your want and desire in spite of your use of 'we' and Google.

So far, for myself, it would be the grand opening of my store. My father and my younger brother along with myself own a Jewelery Store. Well on opening day in a new location I just never showed...  :devil

In my defense... I had just started playing AH and was in the middle of  a four day binder on AH.    :O

my welfare check was ready to be picked up at the welfare office on a Wednesday and instead of going to get it, I played AH all day long and then went to pick the check up on Thursday

If you plan well, you don't miss any events...

Monday       - play AH
Tuesday      - play AH
Wednesday  - play AH
Thursday     - play AH
Friday         - play AH
Saturday     - play AH
Sunday       - play AH
Fear? You bet your life...but that all leaves you as you reach combat. Then there's a sense of great excitement, a thrill you can't duplicate anywhere...it's actually fun. Yes, I think it is the most exciting fun in the world. — Lt. Col. Robert B. "Westy" Westbrook, USAAF 6/<--lol@mod

I held in my poo to land a 262... :airplane:

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

This poster doesn't prioritize his pre-flight checklist properly.
