Delirium will get you squared away

You asked me about defensive situations in the G. Honestly, I try to avoid them.

Stay fast (not too fast, just fast enough to do what you'll need to do) and you'll find your options are much more numerous. Other than the standard "guns defense" stuff, going into a rolling scissors is usually a good idea if you can't shake a con any other way. I try to save that for a 'last ditch' type effort, because if you're busted on it you're either dead already or about to be. The 38's (except for a fast L model) are terrible in a flat scissors, but once you get it rolling will usually corkscrew sufficiently to at least give you some more time. Timing is critical. Start it too soon and the con (especially 109's

) will just throw out airbrakes and ventilate your plane. Too late, and well... I screw up rolling scissors all the time, but every once in a while I get it right. It's really fun reversing people that were stuck on your 6 just a second ago.

Good luck.
