I like to have something a little stronger than my 22 cal to squirrel hunt with . I have never shot the HR-17 but it looks like it get the job done pretty well .

Very fast round. Good for little buggers that can almost move faster than your shot. Lots of folks use it for prairie dogs around here.

They are great guns, but check for ammo availability near you.  With the current hype, that can get very expensive.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.

Depending on which round you use, it will cut a squirrel in half. If you want to keep the meat, you need to use a fmj. The hollow point and ballistic tip rounds in this caliber will explode the squirrel.

I have a few buddies who have bought them.  They love the HR-17 for shooting varmints.
If I had a gun with 3 bullets and I was locked in a room with Bin Laden, Hitler, Saddam and Zipp...  I would shoot Zipp 3 times.
