56th FG still active ?
« on: February 20, 2013, 10:10:40 AM »
From what I can see from the HTC Squads page, the 56th is no longer active in AH. Neither have I seen any of the 56th old guard...Frenchy, Nomde, Yucca etc.

Does anyone have any info on this? Thanks in advance!

I think LilMak is still the XO but I don't think it is active. I wanted to revive it a while back but they were waiting for Nomde to come back. I would still like to see it reorganized.

56th hasn't been active for quite some time.  Ammo was their CO.  Sancho a member also with the players listed above.
Was years ago.

TFC and 56th used to fly together frequently.  One former member of the 56th still active Pollock, flys with the TFC.

TFC and 56th became active approx late 1999 early 2000.  Can't remember...to old.

Thx for the info guys and <<S>> Hajo ....long time no see. You still flying?

My return to the 47 prompted my interest in the 56th....used to fly with them as a guest for Snapshots. What a great bunch of guys, classy and deadly!

Reminds me... I gotta see if Yuccas film Titled "Too Big Too Heavy" is still on youtube, this is a must see for any Jug fans.

I was the XO for the 56th in the DGS Scenerio. Not an MA squad. As Far as I know, I'm the only guy currently trying to put a dedicated Jug squad together (7 Ton Milk Jug). My game time lately has been greatly reduced to wife Ack so my efforts to herd the few interested cats have been hampered. I'm not giving up though, I'll get some peeps together soon.

Flew with the 56th as it went away a few years ago... would love to join back up..   Have to consult with the 71st fellas though,... as they have been a great group to fly with.     ......HUB
