Was a Great shot I recall it like it happen yesterday.

Grizz has been the only ever to make unbelievable shots from the most outrageous ranges.

I have not seen much of Grizz on here then again I have not been around either send my best wishes to him.  :salute :salute

You know, he made some great shots, but the man missed lots too.  He hasn't played though since HiTech made the Mk108 un-lazer-like at longer distances (It has always "dropped", it used to not deviate at all though other than to drop down, but ever since it now also adds some random displacement and at greater distances, no more Grizz....  ( :ahand :headscratch: )

he did go on to say grizz did it so I put two and two together lol

I concur, the humping is strong with this one.

"Muppet pass" otherwise known as a "barrel roll defense".

Thank you, Buzz Killington.

I find it very odd that Gri..., err Red Bull hasn't posted in this thread yet.   :noid  :devil

I never heard of this occuring.  When was the MK108 apparently "nerfed"?

It still seems pretty potent to me: http://youtu.be/frar8uSpB1M

p.s. this move is old as dirt and is hardly idiosyncratic enough to deserve a special name

Not a muppet pass

If anything I would call it a Levi/Wldthng/Mane pass

These days it is common as muck, but 10 years ago it was rare

lol
2 of those were/are muppets.. the 3rd was just a trainer in his trainer plane.. :bolt:

and babalon, the 30mm was not nerfed or changed in anyway affecting if grizz plays the game.. most of his shots were inside 400 with the majority of those inside 200d..

hehe you're reminding me of how fuzzy my memory is..  you may be correct.. maybe he was with us while we were the twin engine devils.. maybe a short period as aom.. it is all in the splendor of antiquity... hehe

never heard it called a Muppet pass... always an overshoot or reversal..

but i will admit i like the idea of that name being an achievement.. haha

If it was to be called a muppet pass achievement it should surely be only with tater armed birds?

Name of achievemnt?
Call it whatever HTC likes, suggested sound right to me. Its more than just a revesral though, its an 'instant payback' kill-shot also... like nobody's business! heh.

Nerfed?
What about all those posts with screenys and films of taters hitting stuff for no apparent damage? Were 'duds' introduced to expain these occurances? fixed? or still happen?

Aiming!
About taters anways, there was a thread that had some diagrams of where taters are in the gunsight at which ranges, had a curve graph, with ingame target dartboard thing too.  Was a few of these, for different convergence settings... one of which was set for 650 convergence. Post the link if remember name of thread please! An hour off line pratice with the dartboard targets would probably help anyones game.

I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't feel any Achievement should be named after an existing squadron or person.

For example, someone had suggested the 'Capt Dell Achievement' that is awarding by driving more than 25 miles to take a base. Since Capt Dell has passed on, this is a good suggestion (if a historical based name/description isn't available).

I would love to see the captain dell achievement.

Of course, I will probably be the first to score it.
