Scaling wize I use the default settings except for the ailerons. I moved the sliders almost all the way to the top for the quickest roll. Button settings are a very much "personal" thing, but it doesn't take long time lay out what you use. You can even change them up while in flight.

No I am not Auger

Looking to copy someone's setup into the HTC controller file. Lazy way to start flying.

My new PC should be here in a week or so and it has been a long time since I flew
Not sure if I could remember how I did the set ups.

I think on he flight stick I had all of the sliders to the top except for dampening

I have same rig....plug and played works great. No extra non sense needed but I gave heard the CH manager can better its performance when uses correctly. I haven't had any problems without it.

I too do NOT use the CH Manager software but configure all my buttons for the throttle and F-16 Fighterstick through AH.  I don't need the extra layer of software running and all my functions work just fine.  Heck I still use my old analog CH pedals with a Gameport>USB adapter and it all works well.

All the Best...

Gosh, How I wish I could find me another pair of the old CH Rudder Pedals Game Port version ( also non-Pro version ).....

I can't seem to find a pair like my old CH "Non - Pro "  Rudder Pedals with GamePort connector ......

Dichotomy sent me his USB port CH Pro Rudder Pedals, and I have given away at least 4 pairs like them, they just don't work for me like the older non-pro game port rudder pedals do.....

I got some TM pedals that are metal ( and some plastic ) and had some TM Elite pedals with hall sensor, and I keep having to revert to the old CH gameport non-pro pedals, I am so used to using them, ( even now with a gameport to USB adaptor ) that trying to switch over is hard and uncomfortable...... we are talking 15+ years of using them though.....

I even tryed a TM twisty stick the other day..... God forbid I would have to ever convert to that type setup......

sorry for side tracking your thread sax, Sir!

I have used the CH Manager with my CH Products Fighter stick / pro throttle / pedals to sync them as one device, via directions from Murdr, before...... but most PC's I use, I do not even bother loading CH Manager anymore, just calibrate thru windows, then in game and do all my controller setup / keymapping via using what Aces High has to offer......

hope this helps

No problem TC

The Aces High setup file is the one I am looking for

So for pitch and roll do you set your sliders to the top?
How much dampening?

I set everything to 100% for the axis sliders, and then move the center sliders down just enough to get the autopilot to hold. Deadband and the center sliders work together to hold autopilot actually. Damping is a matter of how well your setup and yourself can handle the edge of the flight envelope. If you have deadband and the center sliders set properly you can turn damping off and your airplane will be responsive throughout the control throws.

I find that when the controls are new the less you need to make changes away from 100% and damping off completely. As the parts of a controller age you will find you have to move things, which is a pretty good indication its time to buy a new controller. This is more true of Saitek/Logitech/etc. than it is for CH, which for the most part will last longer than most users time in the game.

EDIT: This 100% slider thing is a good idea for fliers, but for GVs it is actually better to go the other way so that the center of the stick is not very responsive at all. That makes it much easier to control the tank barrel, but you only have to do it for the elevator and aileron axis.

If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.
