9th Or 10th Troop

 :airplane: Many, many times since I have been in this game, we have come up 1 or 2 troops short on the 10 required to capture a base! Now, since I and the members of my mission are all on the same team as the troops which come in a M3 or C47, If we are one or two short of troops, why can't I get out of my GV or Bail from an aircraft and enter the "Map" room as well as the other 9 or so troops? Should be the same thing! So how about it Hi Tech, that is a reasonable request!!
And while you are considering that, how about being able to resupply a CV with a C-47? We are now able to resupply a town or base, why not the CV?

The challenge is intentional. One full load of troops.

Carriers already regenerate hull so fast that by the time you die, reup, find the cv again, and hit it again, it needs the full ord load to down it again. CVs in this game are so misused and... well downright ABUSED as far as gameplay is concerned that I think they ought to go down faster, if anything.

Good idea about bailing to fill the last 2 troop requirments. Your pilot can't jump tall buldings like superman so the process of getting to the map room would be more precarious.

It would be interesting if HiTech for grins and giggles would allow 10 players to substitute for the troops. Then let them in thier non-superman state try and make it to the map room. If all ten do, give them the same number of perks as the pilot or driver who dropped them off. Especialy if it wins the war.

With all the hedge rows in the town it could get frustratind and fun listening to everyone on VOX yelling directions to the player controlled troops or the 2 pilots.

Because C-47s were not used to resupply carriers.

I think the best thing HTC could do is to mimic historical troop capacity and then raise the troops needed to capture to 12.  That way, the C47 and the LVT-4 would be the only 2 troops carries that would carry enough troops on their own.  The M3 and SdKfZ 251 would need multiples, or a jeep to go along for the ride.

Resupply of CVs might be a use for a large flying boat, i.e. the Emily or Sunderland.
