So earlier tonight, there were a good number of squadies on. Some were irritated, a few were drunk and most were bored... so all in all better than most nights. We were playing in the MA on whatever lagfest map is destroying our computers, we decided to do something as a squad (after taking the bases we deemed as important). Out of pure stupidity, I pitched an idea that the another CO had come up with the day prior but chickened out on... NOE B-29s.
Little did I know that this idea would be such a huge hit with the rest of the squad. Since I couldn't afford a whole formation, I chose to give a fighter escort instead (which turned out to be the best decision ever). Out of the 15 B-29s that went into the enemy strats (5 players with formations) only one survived and made it back to base. The other players that took B-24s didn't fair much better but did have a higher survival rate.
It was one of those things that was so stupid, I had to share it here.
