The list is entirely too long, because it seems like every week I have a new "favorite."  Music is pretty much my escape, my best friend, and hopefully one day I might have some sort of career in music.  Anyway, here are a few of what I consider my favorites.

Starting with my all-time favorite:  "Can't You See" by The Marshall Tucker Band

And, in no particular order:

"The Weight" by The Band

"All I Could Do Was Write About It" by Lynyrd Skynyrd
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LCo0fIFODi8

And Finally,  with some sentimental value along with it, I give you more than one version of one of the greatest songs ever.  A product of Mr. Warren Haynes "Soulshine."
Allman Bros. version

Gov't Mule's version

Warren Haynes doing an acoustic version

I have a wide variety in music, as my library also includes several songs by Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, etc...  I love all kinds of music, except rap/hip hop/dubstep/etc...

A band that I am really growing to love that I haven't heard much about is Blackberry Smoke.  Pretty cool little band!
