Hehe, you're far too experienced for a trick like the BRD to work if you were latched on a jug's six in your spit8 at d800. Like others mentioned, if the spit pilot is experienced you are pretty much toast.

There is another option, try a short scissors while trying to ditch.

When you are in a less superior plane, sometimes you just have to admit defeat and just make it as painless as possible.

Agreed.

Most spit pilots, however, suck which is why they're flying a spit in the first place. Therefore your odds are probably 50/50 of pulling it off.
