http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EeUrPHPRXSI&feature=youtu.beThanks, I have some more advanced angle ones going up and then I'll move away from these later as it's something to practice into perfection. People have a tendency to make it very one dimensional and blatant or not adjusting to the likely path of the type of opponent. This is something one can only learn through experience. You have the most options midair to deceive the wiser vpilots. I can explain mildly that the main way a initiated opponent will avoid is by going straight up and notturn if you go to set it up with a flat turn. This is how it is taught and how they most likely perform it without disguising it.
So we've to adapt our strategy with the expectance and timing to, trick them into us having not enough E to do anything to them. We can do this by turning unconventionally in because, as we're doing with some altitude as opposed to deck they'll wanmt to avoid a continued dive as they worry we might follow them, this should be simple from your experience spending combat time with and in the planes... So we know the top speed of the n1k is slower than the spitfire, and he's already diving but we've enough E to make pursuit should we want to reel him in slowly as he dives and better think of something better than just going straight. In the first n1k kill this would be an acceptable way to avoid us, If we were dweebs, and there will be a rope attempt but with the timing WE'VE Practiced close to perfection there won't be a rope. and even so at this stage we would be able to miss him passing as and his rope would be another bonus chance.
His best moe here would actually have been to do a level right right shallow turn not losing his momentum with a loong loop away and back towards us, with flaps appliled and some rudder he could possible have us in his sights again... but we'd be ready as we've managed our E by not throwing it all into the move.
Balancing speed to retain as much E is the key to have the full canopy shot. Never sacrifice more than you need to.... never believe you can't push it a little harder, becaus the worst thing that could happen is that you get shot down and learn where the edge was.
In fact, his two best option would've been to keep diving and grab alt with us out of range. Instead he unwittingly does exactly what we expect from our manuevering.
It's no different than attacking someone from alt, Reading their path.. Here we're just relying on their courtesy to come down for us so we may start our attacking manuever. I prefer
