Slow internet makes me die more???

Its seems to me over the past few weeks I can't kill anything. Like I was trying to kill a 109k4 in the 26's tail gun when he was following me dead 6. At about 600 out I opened up and started to hit him on the nose, and to my surprise he didn't move with no smoke and he just kept comming. A second later he warped and I blew up...
I have been having internet problems lately and is there a system in place if your internet is slow they compensate by causing minimal or no damage???

No, most likely your rotten connection caused the packets with the info of your hits on the other plane got lost. So they didn't give him the damage. The warp you saw was the update getting to you from his computer with the data of all those hits he laid on you.

If anyone has a fix for slow internet, please, for the love of god, TELL ME! My internet was ranked slower than 99.5% than the rest of America.

CORRECT! Slow isn't bad as long as it is steady/solid. If your ping doesn't jump around and it is under 200 (I think that is the magic number) you should be fine.

When I used a blackberry to access the arena, my rubber bullets went away after the inevitable switch to tcp from udp.

All is better with iphone connex but still have enough lag time that DA is not an option.

Someone explained that a low frame rate may also make it harder to kill enemies, is that right? I like the advanced graphics and my computer can hold 30 FPS on certain maps, but it seems like it's harder to kill enemies and they kill me more often.

Hit packets can NOT be lost. They will always arrive unless a disco has occurred. Now how long it takes them to arrive is a different question.

I will say, that a Better rig and a cable connection stopped it tho..

When I have no signal for my bionic, I use dialup...an astounding 46k, with a 225 or so ping. As long as ping is near flat line, it's golden

I thought udp connection does not guarantee lost packets are retransmitted but that tcp/ip does.

You won't have to worry. My ISP has basically said they refuse to fix my internet.
