Letting one slip out every now and then isn't so bad.  Most of us have done it numerous times.  What offends people is the guy on range continually dropping the F-bomb and GD this GD that.  It sure offends me as I'm sure it does others.  Really, do we speak like that to our spouses or children?  I hope not.  Keep the mute but use it judiciously.

Insulting a other player and other members of his squad is probably why you got muted, maybe?   :headscratch:

Or, it could have been along the lines of you being on the same country as him and announcing his missions and other squads missions on 200 as to the effect of their heading, altitude and target while following them where ever they went that got you muted, maybe?  :headscratch:
