I know next to nothing about drumming, I just know what I like...always liked his drumming, butI was reading over 30 years ago what a crappy drummer he was

As a drummer, and have been one for 31 years. Bill is a beast IMO. Him, Bonham, krupa and a few others were major influences on me growing up. Of course music has since gone light years past those days as far as technical abilities. But Bill is a major pioneer in music.

That's the thing about drumming, almost anyone can do it and be good enough. But there are those who make drumming an art, and Bill Ward is one of them.
