Holy Hannah... I am guessing the time offset for you and FSO is tough to manage to say the least, but to me, FSO is GAME DAY for AH...  that's where its at.

Yes, you are right with the time thing, that's the reason I never even started with FSO. It's simply too late for me. And I'm not allowed to fly that late, as you can see by the following screenshot taken 2 days ago at  7:30 PM central:

 :cry

But joking aside, seeing that I totally stopped playing scenarios and other special events years ago and having a severe dislike of "winging up", I wouldn't play FSO even if it would happen at a more convenient time.

Why do you hate it, just being "tied down"? Or bad experiences?

You should wing up with us some time, or let me know when you are doing a strat run and I will run with ya... we keep it loose unless we are flying Pony attack/escort/sweep... so the last few months have been loose deuce at best with the K4's and stuff.

Yes. I prefer to have total freedom.

I also can't stay focused long enough. In usually go afk (minimize) AH every few seconds (that's actually the biggest reason I don't use vox at all). Flying in formation for extended times (= more than a minute) can be almost physically painful to me, that's the main reason I stopped doing scenarios where you do maneuver as a formation.

Believe it or not, just winging up or being in a squad is actually stressful to me. Yes, I am really that nuts  :lol

Never done FSO or scenarios, similar to Snail I go afk a lot and also do what I want to do not
flying how someone else wants me to. That's also why I never went to one of those structured
Squads, I'm paying my money so I play my way within the rules and guidelines set down by HTC.

I remember many many years ago there were plans to go forward with a new style of play for Aces High.  "Tour of Duty" which to my understanding would provide scheduled skirmishes and battles.  I for one was very disappointed when that implementation was cancelled.

Was the fairly recent implementation of staged missions the first steps in resurrecting Tour of Duty?

We are discussing the options of incorporating it into FSO and other special events, still some issues with it IIRC.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!
