With this post as with the one you linked, I wonder if there's really been a change or is it just percieved?  Obviously I'm still a new guy in the grand scheme of things, so I honestly have no idea.

High school sports, college parties, and weekends in Vegas are all much cooler when looked at through the prism of time.   :)  Is AH the same?

No.  Vegas trumps all because no one can remember enough of their trips to call anyone liar, therefore, all that fun must have really happened!

While I do agree with your standpoint to some extend, there is a reason you do not see the sentence above: A spit can not "turn to escape a fight".

Sure he can, because he kept crying about runners, you decided to let him bait you into fighting his fight, next thing you know he out turns you and is on your six and no longer in the fight.

I've seen it a million times. No matter how aggressive a pony pilot gets, it's not enough for the whiners.
Fear? You bet your life...but that all leaves you as you reach combat. Then there's a sense of great excitement, a thrill you can't duplicate anywhere...it's actually fun. Yes, I think it is the most exciting fun in the world. — Lt. Col. Robert B. "Westy" Westbrook, USAAF 6/<--lol@mod

How bout this... Weekend in Atlantic City that includes an escort out of the yellow pages.  Time erases the more undesirable memories and leaves nothing but awesome.   :rock

Or at least that's what this one guy told me..  :uhoh

Nice!  We must have the same friend!  My first trip to Vegas included a comp'd night in the Vegas pokey complete with room service and 9 of my new, closest friends.  Training at Fallon created to great a thirst for libations.  The bad has now become treasured.

Awesome!  Gotta love the hospitality in those lovely casino towns.   :aok

Stay away from Tunica, MS though.  The cotton fields have eyes.

The ones who actually fight aggressive should know to ignore the people who act like that

I think that at times whiners mistake 51's for egressing to obtain some alt and e, to put them at an advantage. And they get whined at for being smart :headscratch:

I'd rather be dead and cool than alive and uncool.

Channel 200 is like standing in front of a gorilla cage. The gorilla has
a banana in one hand and a pile of feces in the other. You can do all kind of tricks to impress the gorilla. Nine times out of ten it is not going
to be the banana he throws at you.  ;)

:rofl   that's hilarious, funniest thing I heard all day and its 11:40pm

I'll have to remember that one next time ppl are wishing for things that may or may not deserve any credit, but certainly even if they do aren't going to happen   :D
They're casting their bait over there, see?

.  . .  Escaping is by definition outrunning your opponents.

Escaping or repositioning?  It is a fact holding to the observer or the doer with distance being the variable in question.  If I try to follow a Spit in a tight turn is the Spit escaping being shot or repositioning?  Both would fit the situation.

I am not a big Mustang fan but they do seem to get beat up on this form and on the vox for taking advantage of an attribute of the plane.

I heard a young, cocky vox user last night complaining about a single red hugging the ack cover when they were ten, uncontested, greens circling overhead.  The red guy was playing the hand he had.  If I can survive by escaping to the ack I will.
