Well...I did log on during my last week of subscription a few days ago (found out checking my mail) after 20+ days since my last flight. Went to TT, find a 109G14 at 15K, circling his vbase. With a 5K disadvantage in a P38J, I rolled in anyway. Two passes and one reversal later, he's already on the deck surrounded by 3 wirbles. Gave a wirble a kill and deleted my account right after. Yawn.

Yes there are good fights, yes there are moments of fun. But they're so hard to find, it's just easier to pick up another game and spawn/load into the action instantly.

If you want a 1v1 you can ask someone. I have done this a few times and I feel it's a great learning experience.

I have done this and rarely will some one answer over 200. And when they do, it's the same people. Sure it's fun, but after 40 something duels with each other, it gets stale. Oh wells, I've been having tons of fun playing some new games, maybe when I finish them I'll hop on back.

the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

waaaaaa..

Gixer you whine even when you get 1v1s...

Says you? After just one experience and all the years I've been in this game, it's your opinion I whine after every 1v1? We all have our bad nights when nothing goes right, even you Ace.

I don't consider the Yak9T to be an older slow fighter.....

"Remember when it was cool to fight "

It still is until someone whines about you winning.  Sound familiar (like every time we've met)?

Too bad because I have a lot of respect for your ability which is totally offset by my lack of respect for your personality.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

Personality, you or anyone don't know me personally, I've never met anyone from this sim in all my years here. Not even some of local Kiwis or Aussies. You or anyone haven't even spoken to me even on comms, since I
haven't bothered to hook up a mic since I left my last squad in about 2002

So personality you don't know me from jack, other than 200 and forums.

Interesting though you throw discussion off topic to fire off a personality attack, even if its just your perception of me online.

all airplanes here are easy rides.  just some people think they only fly the "harder" ones while everybody else flies the "easy" rides.

I took a 3 year break only came back 2 month ago the game had changed a little in those 3 years but while i was away i realized that aces high 2 is deffinatly worth the sub best combat flight sim around best community ever too, now fair enough 3 years was a long time but i feel a few months away could have the same effect for others.

   Horde fighting 101

   Get a fast plane

Zoom through Horde and pick up 5-8 cons on six

   Egress from horde center mass

Watch as they drop off looking for an easier target

When down to 1 or 2 engage

   enjoy fight  :D

This is a complete cop out.

Please don't compare bravery of real life combat actions to a cartoon game. AH is no braver than chasing down ghosts in Pacman.   :lol

Well, sounds like I'll be missing out. I've always wanted to hear 'squeeker' with an Aussie accent from someone who sounds confused about playing Aces High and having a beer at the pub.

My favorite tactic is to zip through a sea of red, get 6-12 red planes chasing me, rope them all, laugh joyously as they all stall, shoot 3 of them down, rinse and repeat.  :devil
