AH won't open

I downloaded and installed a program to organize the icons on my desktop yesterday. Fired up Aces High today and received the following error message: "initialization failed with -9 mainwld failed - 1"

I restored to a few days ago and still recieving the same message when attempting to open AH. Any ideas how to fix this?

The game cannot find its resources to start.  The easiest way to fix it is to remove the desktop icon, then re-install the game over the top of the existing installation.
