My museum is sending out our F6F, F8F and A6M3 to Chino this year (on Thursday, I believe Chino's zero is still in Japan atm).  I have personal commitments Friday (media day) and Saturday ala helping a friend out in Arizona, but I will be back in Chino Sunday, possibley as early as Saturday afternoon/evening (I know, I'm missing all the parties!).

The F6F is tentative atm, last I've heard we're still squaring away a problem that's had it stranded in Laughlin for a couple weeks now.

it's 20 bucks each (less for children),  sat or sunday.  there's no parking fee.  but be ready to walk to the main gate and from there trams will take you to the entrance to the show.

also bring a folding chair or you can buy one there.  they were about 20 bucks last year.  there's lots of beer so dont bring your own  and plenty of food.  I never bring anything but some people bring their own water and snacks.  I dont think they allow coolers in thought, but not sure.   bring a hat and sunglasses too.

tickets are normally 2 dollars off online if you buy them a few weeks before but they also charge a fee so you end up paying the 20 bucks anyway.  there's plenty of tickets but plan to arrive early.  I normally get there at 10 so have to time to look up close to the planes and/or tanks.  and also to get a good place next to the barriers next to the runway.

they also have pilots who flew in ww2 and they tell their stories.  they're pretty interesting to hear.

ROFL, ahhhhh good morning humor.  ^^^

I hope to be at Chino.  I did go to this year's Miramar show.  Walked around with my son-in-law and my 4 year old grandson.  I had never been to anything like it before and had a great time.

There's supposed to be a 109 in a museum in Chino, I don't think it flys though.
Go see before or after, if there, photo that, photo, and post!

They do have an original 109 that is in excellent condition that they don't fly.  They have a 190A (post-war kit) that they do fly (and probabley will at the show).
