They also have a Bf 108 that was brought to the US in 1945 and hangered in Seymour Indiana for about a year. The airport is still there and located an hour from my home. They brought most all the captured German planes there after the surrender to test and study. Chopped up hundreds of crates of parts of planes and buried them all over the property. Been digging up stuff there for years, even still today. I have a FW190 prop spinner cap, and piece of a 190 landing gear I found in the woods in 2006.
Anyway, the 108 was a 2 seat 109 and had an orange tail. Its now at Chino and they don't seem to want to sell it.
