Nevermind, it's gone.   They went to a linux VM last fall.

My $15 a month to AH is quite probably the cheapest entertainment I have considering the amount of hours I log.

The cheapest. I make this case all the time. 40 hours a month (lusche could tell us Average time)  for $15.00. that's like $2.67/hour.

You can't watch cable tv for $2.67/hour.

Then whoever installed it probably did not know what they were doing.  Or thought they knew what they were doing.  

I have been using Supermicro motherboards since 1995 and have never had a failure.  All HTC servers are Supermicro based and all of them have been rock solid.

It was speculation on my part.  After using many, many Supermicro motherboards, since around 1995, I have never had a problem with them.  My home file server is based on a Supermicro motherboard that uses a Pentium III.  Still runs like a champ.

All of HTC servers are Supermicro based and the only failure we have suffered was due to a power supply (Antec) going bad and taking the motherboard with it.  We are very happy with the reliability and stability of those products.

I would not hesitate to recommend those, for servers.

I'm just joshing you, the Supermicros installed here (before I came onboard) were a disaster, but it wasn't the motherboard.

The problem I have with one of them running at home is related to the array controller, but the front of the plastic case says Supermicro, so it must be their fault, right?!

My CAD computer needs a restart once a week min... and on a bad day about 20 times.

That is impressive!

Pffft, 50% chance mine (CAD machine at work) will reboot itself when I plug in my phone to charge.


Most impressive though with the game server, maybe a record?
