Sad group in MW
« on: April 28, 2013, 10:09:50 PM »
In LW all sides are much the same and one or another may have some numbers at any given time.... sadly in Mid Was the same folks pile on the same side just to gain perks. Bish 20, Rooks 4 and Knights 8...... who do bish attack... the Rooks lol.

I suggest HT separate perks for each arena. This would stop the lame play.

I fully support your wish, but for different reasons. The scenario you describe above is not a result of a desire to 'farm perks' as you actually get very little by that. They won't get much kills per player, most of them even none, and the few they get are "ruined" by the abysmal perk bonus modifier (which also affects base capture perks). Going MW or EW to 'play' 20-4 is about the most ineffective way to get perks in AH.
Genuine perk farming in EW / MW is done in different ways.

So I'm afraid seperating perks won't stop that, but neverthenless I'm all for it.

Agree. It can be a perk farm. Small perk farm. Also, you may have not noticed but players do change sides
Often to balance the sides. It is not always 20 to 4.

If you want perks ( I sure do ! ) attack the country with the most players.  :D
I go in there to practice with GV's I don't usually use to get more familiar with them.
I have used the Ostie allot lately and finally figured out how to actually hit something. I had previously got an achievement for most bullets fired without hitting anything.  :D I also got a handle on hitting building long range with rockets from a Sherman. Not an easy task without a spotter. You can use that arena to learn and most payers are pretty friendly regardless of what country they are fighting for.

Something else that is fun.......defend a v base by yourself. If you leave an ample number of vehicle supplies all over the base, you have a pretty good chance of keeping them from capturing that base.

But as far as going in for perks alone........naw.....you can get them much faster in the LWA as there are way more targets at any given time. There is also a much bigger gap between early war vehicles/planes and late war vehicles/planes.

Midwar just seems more relaxed overall. Good place to go for a change of pace.

We need repair perks to repair your plane :old:

We should have repair bases where it takes 3 mins to have your plane fixed :old:

The more damage the more perks :old:

This reflects the mindset of the player who logs in.....scans the map, and goes directly to the middle of the biggest green blob

Now come on Shuff, you know theres more to it than that. You are right in the fact that most people in MW stay on one side or the other, call it loyalty or what ever, but I don't think perk points has anything to do with it. At least I know it doesn't for me. I enjoy the Base captures and the teamwork involved, and I enjoy flying with the people I fly with that happen to be all Bishops. That is not to say the Knights or Rooks are bad people or I don't like flying with them. Come to think of it though, I don't think I've ever flown as a Knight or Rook.

It is obvious that that, is not your style of play and that's okay. My observation of your style is to search for the most players to attack and go against that group for the most kills, and again thats okay. We do on occasion have a big influx of LW fighters, and that is always a lot of fun.

I love it!   :rofl

Every side we fly on, seems to be the targeted side of the MW rants about "balance".

We will continue to rotate in MW monthly to ensure we share the wealth.  We have come to like pretty much everyone we have met in there.

We defend, we attack, we furball, we tank, we enjoy eachother's company.  Nothing is going to change.  Most of my perks have been earned in LW anyway so doesn't matter to me where the so called "perkies" come from.  So long as I am having fun with my $15 a month, it is all that matters to me.

 :devil

Funny to watch people get mad in MW when they get all banged up then start in on the all channel like it meant something.  It isn't too hard to go grab altitude in a superior plane set that you fly in 90% of the time and play pick n run.  Or engage when you have advantage, run away when you don't.  People who worry about their score seem to be the ones that complain on these sorts of threads anyways.

Just relax and fly the cartoon planes AHII gave us and don't worry about what the rest of us are up to.  MW or LW, we will still take bases, defend, attack, furball, tank, etc...  Nobody's business but the ones that are on VOX with you anyways.

People get all worked up when a large squad of 8-10 guys are on one side and there are 2-3 others on the other sides. Oh well...

the 2-3 guys should just join the 8-10.. then they could have 10-13 vs 0 :)

That would be SO COOL!  I'll bet they could run the whole map in half a day or so.
