So......

I know a few guys do... well at least one excluding me... but do you have a pet name for your regular ride?

F77  :bolt:

(And is anyone brave enough to name them!)

I generally think of any 262 as a "TDM" (That D**n Machine), but that stems mostly from my inablity to fly or fight them.  :noid

Does that count?
The real problem is anyone should feel like they can come to this forum and make a wish without being treated in a derogatory manner.  The only discussion should be centered around whether it would work, or how it would work and so on always in a respectful manner.

No, no... it's "PRE" for "Pick and Run Exempt" because all of the shining, honourable individuals who live for the fight may pick and run to their hearts content in the 262, because it's exempt from the Pick and Run laws.

I often refer to my jug as my "Rocket Sled" for no good reason, I refer to my P-38 as "The Draggin' Wagon" because most bandits will wade through a sea of C-47s to saddle up on it.

I call my 38 "dammit".

She usually doesn't respond.

I call all my planes "Swiss Cheese" since they're always full of hole, leaking fuel and oil, missing many many parts, and on fire.
