That is your opinion and I can respect that however I disagree. However ACDC and Godsmack are pretty bad. They're about as good as modern Metallica.

Led Zeppelin and Floatsam and Jetsam are ok to me. 6/10.

Flotsam and Jetsam..... some of the best thrash metal there is......I actually like singing in the music I listen to :D

but Zepp.......there is no better.

been listening to them for 30 years +

still to this day I can sit and listen to them non stop.

but if I were to take one song that defines me..... it aint from Zepp....it would be from Judas Priest(another excellent singer)

Blood Red Skies

As the sun goes down, I move around
Keeping to the shadows
Life, hangs by a thread
And Iıve heard it said, that Iıll not see tomorrow
If thatıs my destiny, itıll have to be
So Iıll face the future
Running out of time
Iım on the line
But Iıll go down fighting
Felt the hand of justice
Telling wrong from right
Threw me out upon the street in the middle of the night
Cybernetic hearbeat
Digital precise
Pneumatic fingers nearly had me in their vice
Not begging you
Iım telling you
You wonıt break me
You wonıt make me
You wonıt take me,
Under blood red skies
You wonıt break me
You wonıt take me
Iıll fight you under
Blood red skies
Through a shattered city, watched by laser eyes
Overhead the night squad glides
The decaying paradise
Automatic sniper
With computer sights
Scans the bleak horizon for it's victim of the night
Theyıre closing in
Theyıll never win
You wonıt break me
You wonıt make me
You wonıt take me,
Under blood red skies
You wonıt break me
You wonıt take me
Iıll fight you under
Blood red skies
As the end is drawing near
Standing proud, I wonıt give in to fear
As I die a legend will be born
I will stand. I will fight
Youıll never take me alive
Iıll stand my ground
I wonıt go down
You wonıt break me
You wonıt make me
You wonıt take me,
Under blood red skies
You wonıt break me
You wonıt take me
Iıll fight you under
Blood red skies
Youıll never take me alive
Iım telling you
Hands of justice
I will stand, I will fight
As the sun goes down
I wonıt give in to fear

LedZepp was great... they called metal live. But there is no better? Thats such a strong statement! Since there was...
-a Sabbath once. Actually, 80's Sabbath, along with the Tyr and the Dehumanizer is one of my favourites. Just as deep as the Zepp was a decade before.
-Iron Maiden. Do i have to say anything?
-Megadeth. Okay, Dave and co only reached the Zepp level in the Rust, maybe in the Countdown, still.
-Helloween. Walls of Jericho, Keeper I/II, Time of the Oath, Better than Raw, Dark Ride, Gambling. That amount of musical creativity have just amazed me.
-and a bunch of other bands who could eventually reach the Zepp's level in their genre but couldnt stay there as long.
The Zepp was the best of its age, by far, but soon enough, they were new, very potent contestants rising.

And... Rock In Peace, Jeff   :salute

Kerry King on the day that Jeff passed away came up with something original:  He did not want a moment of silence, he wanted a moment of noise.   :aok

THAT is a true metal spirit. Look it up on youtube.

It was not the spider bite that killed him.  According to Yahoo, it was cirrosis of the liver.  :(
