Film Viewer for Gun Positions and Ground Vehicles
« on: May 04, 2013, 07:15:20 PM »
The Film Viewer needs modified  so that you can view the positions of mannable positions (37mm, 88mm, 5in 8in ), and ground vehicles.  Right now for 37mm and 88mm, you have no way of seeing your shot, unless you view from your targets perspective.

Tried to re-watch my killing spree at 83 tonight, and it simply locked on a piece of ground no where near the base, so I had to jump from target to target to view my kills. Talk about frustrating.  :furious

Just my opinion.

Respectively,

I once had a problem when I was helping in the training arena to teach gunnery in tanks - one of the issues was using film on distance shots - you had to literally slow down the film viewer until someone fired, then track it because the icons disappear at a distance.

One of the keys is being able to lock on an enemy tank and see YOUR icon so you can track your rounds and watch where they hit, many people jump to conclusion the tank game is broken because they "hit" the tank, but don't know where they hit.
