Are you faster than a Shelby? Usually the answer is no.  :devil

Absolutely beautiful.
Like, ya know, when that thing that makes you move, it has pistons and things, When your thingamajigy is providing power, you do not hear other peoples thingamajig when they are providing power.

..back in 2006, street driven (he runs up to the local grocery store in it ..couldnt find the video ..been awhile) ..just a lowly C5 corvette. Known as the Boweryboys ..they kinda set the bar for awhile for a street driven ..altho there are others out there that aren't as well known :)

Or a guy from Tennessee.

That's Kentucky, suh!

My Grandad, who grew up in Lexington, said his aged Aunties told a tale of a huge feud in the Shelby family, with the result that "all the ne'er-do-wells lit off for Tennessee, while the worst of the bunch kept on going all the way down to Texas."  So it might could be that I actually *am* related to Ol' Shel', across a gap of several generations.   ;)

And Ol' Shel' sure made a nice car out of the AC Ace!   :aok

I do find myself wondering what fun it would be to stuff a pumped up GenII Hemi into a lightweight car .. like ..ohh .. a '71 Duster ..f'rinstance. Similar to what the Powerblock Musclecar show did ..but *not* LIME green .. and .. faster.

In one of these. ^

Then promptly die with a huge smile on my face at around 200 mph.

Now *that* would be FUN .. altho I would prefer the powerplant in a car with a bit more room :) Perhaps a '69 Camaro ..f'rinstance :)
