A buddy and I were talking about all the vehicles we've gone through since getting our licenses at 16. I figured it would be fun to see what everyone else has owned.

In order (i'm not going to list my wife's cars even though they are technically in my name)

1992 isuzu pick up
1990 Mitsubishi Eclipse Gs-T
1991 Plymouth Lazer GS
1995 Miata
1982 Nissan 280zx Turbo
1997 Nissan 200sx SE-R Turbo
2002 Corvette Z06
2004 Chevy Silverado Crew Cab
1990 Mustang 5.0 notch back
1989 Mustang 4cyl notch back (this car was a roller that was going to be built for drag racing)
2007 Suzuki GSX-R 600
2000 Corvette FRC (fixed roof coupe)
2006 Cadillac CTS-V
1995 Miata (not tagged, strictly an auto cross car)
2003 Yukon XL (current family vehicle  :frown:)

You can see I started as an "import guy" and finally saw the light after getting tired of spinning my front wheels while racing. 15 cars in 15 years of driving  :uhoh

'77 buick regal coupe (hs car - dad)
'83 olds cutlass calais t-top (college car - dad, but my choice, thinking ahead, lol)
'89 mustang conv. v-8 25th annv. edition - my first car.
'89 s-10 blazer 2 dr 4wd (bought from dad in '93 for winters in Md. - it served its purpose.)
'97 f-150 plain jane 2wd
'02 f-150 xlt supercab 2wd
'13 ford focus hb - sippy, sippy, 30.5 mpg so far mixed driving.

Next - some sporty coupe toy maybe in '15 - '16  Leaning towards a pony/challenger or bmw.  Never really cared for the Japanese makes or chevy/gm.

well this is just a pic of the car i had back in the 80's.  mine was metallic silver.  no other car has even come close to match it.  i convinced 3 girls they were the only one.  in the end I paid for 20 years for a car that I bought for 1,500 bucks.  but it was worth it :).

Too many to list.  Only one that mattered was the 1970 Impala I learned in.  Built like a tank with that big 350 under the hood.  Still the fastest I've ever gone in a car.  My dad said the best thing that could have happened did when a had a minor accident, just enough to point out to me that even though I was gods gift to driving it didn't mean every one else was.  Bottom line is I needed to drive remembering that,

Since then cars are get me here to there things.

various small bikes, tuned Yamaha RD125 was the most fun

1978 VW Scirocco MkI
1967 Triumph Spitfire MkIII
1972 Triumph Toledo (just dreadful)
1962 Triumph TR4
1976 VW Golf MkI 1.6
1988 VW Golf MkII GTi 8v
1989 Honda Civic 1.4 GL (most fun ... 4-wheel drifting through a corner then wrrrrppp! to 7000+rpm :rock)
1999 VW Golf MkIV GTi 8v (still going ... slowly)

something alot quicker will be next when I have somewhere secure to park it :)

1966 VW Beetle
1966 Plymouth Valiant
1969 Buick Skylark GS 430 with 455 heads
!969 Mercury Cougar 351 Windsor
1969 Chevy Nova 289 bored 30 over, Crane duration cam, hydrollic lifters, Edelbrock manifold, Holley 850 dual feed, 1/2 in. fuel line, 2in exhaust
Honda Prelude, forget the year
Since then all pick-ups, nothing exceptional, the Nova was by far my favorite, hauled gas, burned rubber in 1st 2 gears, just a screamer.
