We all go through highs and lows. I know I do anyway.
When I'm off, it's usually my aim that goes first. I could have been splitting hairs the night before, but every once in a while it's like the feel for the shot just leaves me and I can't hit the broad side of a barn. That usually frustrates the toejam out of me and I start to press, which leads to terrible decisions and a reduction in SA. That can be an endless cycle unless you recognize it and try to correct the aiming issues.
I like to play golf a lot too. Gunnery is a lot like putting, I think. Some days you have the right feel for the line and speed and the putts just fall. Other days you couldn't make a putt if the hole was a bread basket. To be honest, that's part of what makes it rock.
