Remembering the improvements
« on: May 12, 2013, 04:31:55 PM »
When I first started AH one annoying thing happened over and over. That was when I shot the tail off of a plane the fuselage would flip back and up rapidly and you would smack right into it. Remembered this the other day when incredible to me I shot the whole tail off a lanc.

Then there was a time when you shot the tail off a B24 and the gunner would still be shooting you. That got me a few times too. :lol :lol :lol

The old glass tail 38, that irritated me to no end. One ping and poof, there goes your tail.  :lol

The old spit V with the uber boost and the 240 cannon rounds.

Oh wait, actually, that was awesome...

Kill stealing. Shot a guys wing off and some guy swoops in and does more damage before the plane hits the ground. Also everyone who cheated (code for I sucked and thought there were hacks). The greatest improvement personally has been my understanding of the game.

Heh, just opened this thread to post this very thing! :) Yep, that was a huge improvement.

I've also liked the automatic filming feature very much.

Remember when you had a 1 v 1 and you both shot each other down with a kill recorded for both of you. Now it's a race to the ground with the loser getting the kill and some sap nearby who never fired a shot getting a proxie.  :headscratch:

It is as it has always been.  To get a mutual kill on each other you both have to die within the ping time to the server.
