Do everything you can to save up for the next time you have the chance for a ride. I had the chance to take a flight in "Sentimental Journey", and every second I was in the aircraft I remember well. I was able to move about the plane throughout the flight. When the plane landed I was in the nose gunners position, it was an experience I'll never forget.
I encourage everyone to save up and take a a ride, they certainly are not getting cheaper. I paid $330 for my ride in 2003.
Last year it Did a Canadain Tour, Sentimental Journey, I remember clear what happen..I was on a Flight back from Vancouver, To Cranbrook B.C, Its a small town, but i Remember I looked out the window at the airfield When we were landing, And their i saw it..The B-17, I was in shock, Like..How often does your favorite aircraft Show up at a small town/city On the day your coming back to visit family....So i went over to the b-17 did a walk through.in and out tour, Then i asked if i could get a flight in it, and they said yes if i was willing to pay, 535 dollers, bla bla, So..Well yea, I paid for the flight.....I had no problem with the price, They have to make some money to maintain this old beast
