HTC - we could definitely use the updated specs on the Type 91 -one of the Mk.3 models would seem to be the happy medium there.
Unless of course we can define our Type 91s by which arena they are being launched in??

Or what they're being launched from.  G4M and Ki-67 ought to use different torpedoes.

Yes to a point. I mean the órds where upgraded as the war went on, and I don't think they kept making the old ones just to fit to the older planes. a plane in 1945 would not likely be dropping a 1941 trop unless it had been sitting in storage for 3-4 years.

Sitting in storage for a couple of years might very well be what it did. There wasn't opportunity to use aerial torpedos every day. In fact I'll bet aerial torpedo attacks were a very rare occurance.
Plus the Japanese had a very hard time keeping their units supplied so older unused weapons and ammunition by be all they had hand.

Still newer versions available for the cyber war would be great.  :D

True.  For scenarios and FSO though, I think we are going to have to put multiple torp types into the mix.  What do we do about a late war Kate?

Well, we don't have to worry about torpedoes for the D4Y as it was a dive bomber.  The B6N 'Jill' and B7A 'Grace' would be the late war torpedo bombers.

Totally correct.  I always seem to say D4Y Judy when what I mean is B6N Jill.  Creeping oldfartism.   :old:
