Actually Coombz, to really ruin the Jon Snow thing you should have said this:
Spoilers Below
The whole "Prince that was Promised", or Azor Ahai, isn't actually Stannis, it's Jon Snow. AA is supposed to be reborn amid "salt and smoke" right - Remember Renly teasing his brother Stannis saying "what, are you a ham" when the fire priestess Mel brought this up?
Well, this prophecy was also to be proceeded to a "red streaking star" - which everyone thought was that stupid comet all through the first part of the 2nd book, right, and hence meant that Stannis could be easily interpreted to be AA, even by Mellissandra.
It's all wrong. Jon Snow isn't going to die, not really. But they do put bodies from the Night's Watch at the wall in the ice prisons sometimes - which happen to also be right where the watch has stored all of its food for the winter - salted beef and smoked ham. Also, right before Jon was stabbed, the giant Wun Wun had taken Ser Partek, and beat him to a pulp, flinging him like a doll into a wall over and over in one of his huge hands. What is Ser Partek's sigil - A red star on his shield - a red streaking star from all the blood flying through the air behind his sigil on his chest and shield, and Jon Snow will come back out of his coma or whatever - reborn - amidst salt and smoke, in the ice tombs/cells underneath the edge of the wall. Therefore IMO, after a red streaking star, the prince that was promised, Azor Ahai reborn, shall be born unto you amidst salt and smoke - Jon Snow/Targaryen. You heard it here first - search engine back when book 6 comes out.
