You do realize you can't just point and click right?  Or are you laboring under the misapprehension that you can put the cursor on the target and click?

If you want to get good at the 5 inch guns to shoot aircraft, you need to standardize your zoom level.

Most people are zoomed in too much or play with a different zoom setting for every target.
