Hey, it's just some brainstorming.  I would rather see HTC's limited resources used to update/add aircraft.  I'm just glad we have a reasonably realistic flight model and fun stuff to do with it.  Changes to the troops system would be nice, but certainly not a priority.

Actually, changes to AI troop roles would make a huge difference in the dynamics of the game.
I believe it would make it much more interesting for the ground and capture elements. Eliminating
the AI troops entirely and trying to turn this game into World War II online ... not so much.

How about allowing a chuted pilot to take the place of a troop?

I doubt you would find 10 guys who will willingly chute out over a town to take a field since most are motivated by score and can't be bothered to even protect inbound troops.

Then don't make it worth it to do it.

If someone strafed one troop and you are willing to sacrifice a death to the enemy, why not be able to count as one troop.
